Join us on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 from 4pm-6pm PST for our Sushi 101 Virtual Happy Hour Mixer! Learn about sushi from the expert, Kaz Matsune from Breakthrough Sushi. This a virtual business and social networking happy hour event via live video to give business professionals the opportunity to connect screen to screen with one another and exchange ideas and have fun while learning about sushi.

Agenda:
- Introduction by Host David Mitroff, Ph.D. and attendees will make a brief introduction.
- Kaz Matsune from Breakthrough Sushi will give a 20-minute talk about tons of fun sushi history and trivia!
- Attendees will be broken out into virtual groups / “rooms” via the meeting platform where they can all see each other on video.
- These groups will consist of approximately 4 to 5 people (depending on how many people attend the event) and they will network and exchange ideas with each other for about 20 minutes. Each member of the group will introduce briefly themselves and then everyone will share ideas.
- Depending on the size of group and group interest, we will make more breakout groups or we will talk together as one big group and network more.
This event is open to anyone who wants to network and share ideas except No MLM (No Exceptions).

About the Instructor:
Kaz Matsune – Sushi Program Designer, Sushi Instructor
Born in Western Japan, 1968. Over the course of his 19-year professional culinary career, Kaz has served sushi clienteles as Mick Jagger, Denzel Washington and Leonardo Dicaprio, worked for over ten restaurants, catering companies including Ozumo Contemporary Japanese in San Francisco. In 2012, Kaz founded Breakthrough Sushi – the first and only sustainable team building Sushi Company in the US. Since then, and he has since taught sushi making to over 10,000 people. Breakthrough Sushi has served many corporate clients as Google, Facebook, Oracle, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, Verizon Wireless, Citibank, McKesson and Old Navy. Some of Breakthrough Sushi’s private clients include CEO of various IT companies and managing partners of venture capital firms.
