The expert panel will be discussing the current state of relationship between Silicon Valley and China for IoT startups. China has a population of 1.4 billion to Silicon Valley’s four million and both are necessary to establish a great company and at the same time, connections have become unusually important. Learn about what China’s current entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem look like and how can they can learn from each other.

The first speaker, Bay McLaughlin, is flying in from Hong Kong to speak to the group. Bay is the Co-Founder of Brinc, the global IoT accelerator and platform based in Hong Kong which is the world’s first end-to-end integrated platform designed to support global IoT entrepreneurs by accelerating IoT startups from concept to sustainable commercialization. The second speaker is Thomas Cheng, Co-Founder of Streetline and Head of Hardware for August Smart Lock, and currently founding a stealth IoT business.
